I have to agree with Paul Constant…Irving hasn’t had a great book since 1990.  In fact, I didn’t even read his last one.  Still, when you have written The World According to Garp, The Hotel New Hampshire, Cider  House Rules and A Prayer for Owen Meany, do you need to write anything else?
